BR235 selection note: Eaton BR235 is a 35-amp, common-trip two-pole breaker made for load centers whose labeling specifically accepts Type BR devices. It is sized for a 120/240-volt system and occupies two adjacent breaker positions.

What is—and is not—being matched
The important identifiers are the BR family, 35-amp rating, two-pole form, and panel listing. Physical resemblance to older Bryant, Westinghouse, Challenger, or another one-inch breaker does not by itself establish approval.
Installation checkpoint
Check the panel directory and labeling, system voltage, available fault current, conductor size, load calculation, and terminal torque. This is standard thermal-magnetic protection rather than GFCI or AFCI protection. Final selection and installation should be made by a qualified electrician.
