QF240A is a two-pole Siemens personnel-protection GFCI. It is rated 40A at 120/240V AC and monitors for 5 mA ground-fault conditions. The breaker plugs into approved Siemens equipment and uses a factory neutral pigtail for its line-side electronics.

Protection scope for this model

QF240A adds ground-fault sensing to ordinary thermal-magnetic protection but does not add AFCI protection. A two-pole GFCI may be used on a circuit with or without a load neutral depending on the equipment and wiring design; the breaker’s own white pigtail still follows the Siemens instructions.

Confirm Type QPF2 acceptance, 40A rating, two-pole arrangement, system voltage, and available fault-current requirement from the labels and design documents. Do not choose a breaker solely because another Siemens two-pole unit occupies the same space. A qualified installer should verify neutral routing, conductor sizing, and the application.

There is a $15 charge for delivery. Additional charges will be imposed by our couriers for delivery to remote areas, a surcharge may be levied to cover carriage to these areas.
