EJB34020 NF-panelboard match: Square D EJB34020 is a 20-amp, three-pole E-frame breaker built for bolt-on use in compatible lighting panelboards. It operates on 480Y/277-volt AC systems and uses thermal-magnetic protection with a visible trip indication.
The 100kA headline is a maximum, not the rating to use automatically at 480Y/277 volts. The applied voltage and available fault current must be checked against the breaker label and manufacturer rating table.
Confirm EJB34020 is listed for the exact Square D panelboard, bus construction, and phase arrangement. Also verify conductor material and range, terminal torque, and installation condition. A qualified electrician should perform the bolt-on work and final safety checks with the equipment de-energized and applicable procedures followed.
