EGB14020 is the high-interrupting member of Square D’s 20A E-Frame pair. The one-pole, 277V AC breaker bolts into an approved NF panelboard and is identified with a 65 kA maximum interrupt rating, well above the corresponding EDB model’s maximum.

EGB is not just another spelling of EDB

The G in EGB identifies a different interrupting-capacity tier. Do not replace EGB14020 with EDB14020 without an engineering review of available fault current and the panel listing. At 277V, use the exact rating shown by Schneider Electric rather than the family maximum alone.

Fault-current and panelboard check

Confirm the precise NF interior, 277V system, one-pole 20A circuit, conductor and terminal requirements, and calculated fault current. Review coordination and voltage-specific interrupt ratings in current Square D documentation. A qualified professional should install this bolt-on breaker and apply the specified torque.

There is a $15 charge for delivery. Additional charges will be imposed by our couriers for delivery to remote areas, a surcharge may be levied to cover carriage to these areas.

Warranty Coverage
