Why 45A must remain an exact match

HOM245 is not a 40A or 50A substitute and should not be upsized or downsized by convenience. It also does not provide AFCI or GFCI protection. The unusual 45A handle rating is part of the load, conductor, and equipment design that must be preserved or recalculated.

Panel and ampacity confirmation

Verify HOM245 is permitted by the loadcenter label and that a two-pole 45A breaker is required for the connected equipment and conductors. Confirm 120/240V and 10 kA suitability. A qualified person should review the load instructions and install the breaker.

There is a $15 charge for delivery. Additional charges will be imposed by our couriers for delivery to remote areas, a surcharge may be levied to cover carriage to these areas.
