QO230 is a standard two-pole breaker. Square D rates this QO model at 30A for 120/240V AC systems with a 10 kA interrupting rating. It uses the familiar QO plug-in mounting format and provides thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protection.

No neutral feature is part of QO230

Unlike QO arc-fault and ground-fault products, QO230 has no test button, neutral pigtail, or plug-on-neutral connection. The two poles trip together for a correctly specified two-pole circuit. Calling this model “plug-on neutral” would be inaccurate.

Match more than 30 amps

Confirm QO230 is listed on the panel label and that the design requires 30A, two poles, 120/240V, and a 10 kA rating. Conductor size, load calculation, and equipment instructions determine whether 30A is appropriate; the breaker should never be upsized simply to prevent tripping. Selection and installation should be handled by a qualified person.

There is a $15 charge for delivery. Additional charges will be imposed by our couriers for delivery to remote areas, a surcharge may be levied to cover carriage to these areas.
